Vietnam, 1965: Seaman Storekeeper Thomas G. Beikler of St. Paul, Minn., watches comedienne Martha Raye's show through a porthole aboard the U.S. Navy berthing vessel Tourane Hilton in Da Nang's harbor. Raye put on 14 shows in a grueling eight-day schedule in the Da Nang and Chu Lai areas.
