Tokyo, March 20, 1974: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Bob Hayes, known as "the world's fastest human," strikes a pose in front of an appropriate background — a jet engine — as he arrives at Tokyo International Airport. Hayes was returning to the country where he won two gold medals in the 1964 Olympics to play in two exhibition football games against Japanese all-star teams. Hayes is the only athlete ever to win both an Olympic gold medal and a Super Bowl ring.
