Sports article hit the target

I appreciate the recent write-up on females dominating Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Europe shooting events (“Shooting down stereotypes,” Jan. 19, Home Team, Europe edition). As a former assistant women’s rifle team coach at Texas Christian University, the article brought back some great memories of having had the opportunity to teach and mentor some well-disciplined shooters. Kudos for such a positive story about a high school sport and its successes.
