Anti-bullying programs have been set up at many schools. They encourage students to not bully or start fights. Teachers encourage students not to bully, but there are no consequences. When a complaint is filed, they might just tell the student to stop doing it.

A way to stop bullying could be pairing up younger kids with older kids. That way, the new kids have someone to go to if they need help. Also, the older kid could help keep the younger kid safe. Devices are also needed to block mean messages from cyberbullies.

Phoebe Prince emigrated from Ireland to the United States in the fall of 2009. She lived in South Hadley, Mass., and attended Hadley High School. Continuous bullying was said to [push her to suicide]. Cyberbullies posted mean things to Prince on the computer.

Facebook pages such as "Stop the Hatefulness Against Phoebe Prince" have been set up and have attracted hundreds of viewers, but the cyberbullies continued to post mean comments on the page.
