Thousands of flight enthusiasts from the Washington, D.C. area who had been waiting since 2012 for the return of the Joint Base Andrews Air Show finally got their wish Saturday as the Air Force Thunderbirds and a host of other aircraft soared above the Maryland base and were on display on the ground.
