The Guard hits the ripe old age of 377 today. How so old? According to National Guard’s history page, it's because they trace their roots back to the village green in Salem, Mass., on Dec. 13, 1636. Enjoy this gallery of the Guard in action across the years and across the world with any cake you have nearby.
