Clues sought in rape of Fort Benning woman

Federal authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who kidnapped and raped a Fort Benning woman earlier this month.

The woman’s white pickup truck was broken down on the 101st Airborn Division Road on Fort Benning at around 10 a.m. Oct. 17 when two men confronted her. After they abducted and assaulted her, the woman was left at the scene.

Special Agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, commonly known as Army CID, have released composite sketches of two men wanted for questioning who were last seen in the vicinity of Sunshine Road on Fort Benning.
