US Air Force jazz band plays at Kaiserslautern music festival

Despite the rain, fans listen to The Ambassadors, the jazz band of the United States Air Forces in Europe Band. They were performing as part of the ''Swinging Lautern'' festival in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Friday afternoon.

KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — The Ambassadors, the premier jazz band of the United States Air Forces in Europe Band, entertain spectators at the Barbarossafest in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Friday afternoon.

The festival, dubbed “Swinging Lautern,” is a three-day music festival featuring jazz, swing, boogie and rock and roll in downtown Kaiserslautern.

Another USAFE ensemble, Wings of Dixie will perform at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The festival runs through Saturday night.
