YOMITAN, Okinawa — More than 90 students graduated Saturday during the 53rd commencement ceremony for the University of Maryland University College Asia on Okinawa.

University president Susan Aldridge was the keynote speaker for the graduation ceremony at the Yomitan Cultural Center.

The commencement was the second of three to be held this year. The first was April 18 in Tokyo, and the final ceremony will be May 2 in Seoul.

According to UMUC-Asia, about 800 degrees will be awarded this year.
