JEBEL PETRA, Jordan — Many Marines seek out assignments with Marine expeditionary units with the hope of travel and unique experiences.

For 1st Lt. Joshua Harvey, platoon commander of a 22nd MEU artillery battery, that’s what he got during Eager Lion 2014 in Jordan.

During the final days of the 22-nation exercise, Harvey worked with one of Jordan’s artillery batteries.

Go along with Harvey on one of his visits to his Jordanian counterparts in the final days of the exercise.

Eager Lion was a two-week exercise that involved 12,000 personnel, about half of them American.
