WIESBADEN, Germany — Cheerleading squads from Ramstein, Ansbach and Rota were the best in their divisions Saturday at the DODDS-Europe Cheerleading Championships, held in conjunction with the girls and boys basketball tournaments in Wiesbaden.
Twenty-five teams put on 2½-minute routines before judges and fans at the packed Fitness Center on Clay Kaserne. The cheerleaders were also rated on their performances at games during the tourney. In addition to selecting the top teams, judges also named all-tournament squads.
