WIESBADEN, Germany — Nearly 100 marchers walked along the streets of Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Germany, on Thursday to mark the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

About 100 more attended the following ceremony, which featured music and a recitation of King’s “I had a Dream” speech. Guest speaker was U.S. Army Europe’s Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion Command Sgt. Maj. Sean Rice. Monday will mark the 28th time the holiday will be observed.

Atendees at the Wiesbaden Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration pray during the invocation. Around 200 people attended the event Thursday. The holiday will be observed on Monday.
