Navy releases 2012 planning guides
YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — The Navy has released the 2012 Naval Leader Planning Guide and Naval Leader Weekly Planner.
Both the guide and the planner include a calendar of events and lists of information important to Navy leadership, according to a Navy news release. Among the information listed in the release are selection board, evaluation and fitness report schedules.
“The sections on personal development are extremely useful in today’s environment,” Command Master Chief Petty Officer Stephan Fontenot said in the release. “They include pages on planning and goal development, resources for assistance, planning worksheets and a mentoring compass.”
All Navy personnel are authorized to download the calendars at Navy Knowledge Online and select the leadership tab.
