Marine found dead on Okinawa

CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — A U.S. Marine was found dead in his Okinawa home Monday, according to a Marine Corps news release.

The service did not release the name of the Marine or give any details about his death.

The family of the deceased was notified and his name will be released Wednesday morning, according to the Marine Corps public affairs office.

The case is being investigated by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
