While in Afghanistan, Marine had all her possessions stolen

While Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Jamie Hammond was in Afghanistan, thieves broke into her storage unit and stole all her possessions.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Hammond had returned to Camp Pendleton for a conference, and the day before she was to fly back to Afghanistan, she went to store some personal belongings in her storage unit in Vista, Calif.

According to the Union-Tribune, Hammond said she "was in utter shock, disbelief, panic and rage," when she saw that all her belongings were stolen. "All of the items I had acquired during my childhood and adult life were stolen from me."
