TKS cable customers in Germany will experience a Germany wide outage on Tuesday, occurring sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. while the company performs a series of upgrades.
The service interruption will involve several TKS services including easyConnect, easyTV, AFN via the on-base analog cable network and Exchange Connect.
The duration of the service interruption will be approximately one to two hours and affects customers living both on-base and off-base across Germany, TKS stated in a news release.
The network upgrade will lay the groundwork for a planned increase of Internet speed and for the introduction of new and enhanced network services, according to the company.
When the upgrades are completed all TKS network services are expected to automatically resume with full functionality. Customers are not required to reset or reconfigure their existing setup, TKS stated.
