WIESBADEN, German — USAG Wiesbaden’s weeklong German-American Friendship Fest culminated with a fireworks display on July 4, 2014.

Some 20,000 visitors rode rides, ate food and enjoyed the festive atmosphere at the fest, which was held for the first time since the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks on America. And although the housing area is scheduled to become a closed post in the near future, garrison officials say they are in already planning to bring the event back next year.
