Soldier dies in August of natural causes

WIESBADEN, Germany — A soldier assigned to the 66th Military Intelligence Brigade with duty in the United Kingdom died Aug. 20, according to U.S. Army Europe.

Sgt. Zanishia N. Usher, 27, from Norfolk, Va., died in her sleep of natural causes, according to a USAREUR release issued last week. The release said the delayed announcement was due to an administrative oversight.

Usher is survived by her husband, Gerrit C. Gober, and her parents, Rita and Douglas Usher.
