KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — The public is invited to mark the inauguration of President Barack Obama for his second term at a party and panel discussion in Frankfurt on Jan. 21 hosted by The English Theatre Frankfurt and the U.S. consulate general.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with live coverage of the inaugural ceremony beginning at 5:30 p.m., according to a theater news release.

A panel discussion slated for 7:30 that evening about diversity in the United States opens the Black History Month program of the U.S. Consulate. It includes a look at the minority votes in the election, the immigrant experience as shared by a consular officer whose parents are immigrants from Hungary, and the administration’s priorities on immigration and diversity.

Online registration is required by Jan. 16, with registrations accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, go to www.english-theatre.de/registration and use the following password: USinaug2013. Guests must register with their full names.
