Students and families participate in wellness night event at Landstuhl school

Children run, play, scoot and learn how to eat and live healthy during a family wellness night at Landstuhl Elementary-Middle School. Children swarmed the halls, the gym and other parts of the school as they scrambled between the nearly 60 activities and information sessions offered during the two-hour event.

Emma Butterfield, 5, takes part in a FemFusion fitness class that was part of a family wellness night at Landstuhl Elementary-Middle School. For two hours, most of the school was overrun with students and family members engaged in everything from Double Dutch jumping rope to making their own sushi to spinal screenings. Nearly 60 activities and informational sessions were part of the event, which received help from local military units and organizations and a handful of off-base businesses, including Brianne Grogan's FemFusion Fitness.
