STUTTGART, Germany — A German worker died Wednesday morning at a construction site on Robinson Barracks, U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart officials said.

The construction worker was part of a team connecting new duplex housing units to the main sewer system when he died. German health officials were working to determine the cause of his death.

Officials stopped short of calling the incident an accident, saying that more details and information were needed. The name of the worker was withheld until notification of next of kin.

The U.S. military police are investigating the incident along with German police. However, no foul play is suspected, officials said.
