Lockheed Orlando unit gets Army Apache contract
Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Orlando has received an Army contract worth $90.6 million to provide logistics support for the Apache helicopter's advanced weapons-targeting system, Lockheed said Thursday.
Terms call for Lockheed to maximize the system's mission readiness, reduce its operational costs and improve its reliability. The deal is the first of three options in a general contract worth $111 million that was awarded in 2012.
