Pfc. Saul Ernesto Lucas, a 23-year-old Fort Carson soldier, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after police said he allegedly stabbed four people in a rage over loud partying on Sunday.
According to Colorado Springs police, Lucas was angry about loud noise and music coming from his next door neighbor's apartment around 11 p.m. and confronted him with a knife, allegedly attacking four people until witnesses subdued him.
Police were nearby on an unrelated call and were at the apartments on 3793 Westmeadow Drive within minutes.
The victims sustained cuts and stab wounds, one of them to the head, but none was life-threatening, police said.
Lucas was booked into the El Paso County jail and held on a $50,000 bail, court records show.
Lucas, an infantryman, is assigned to Fort Carson's 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team and has served in the military for just more than a year, according to Fort Carson officials.
