Army's top officer visiting bases in South Korea
SEOUL — U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond Odierno is visiting two U.S. bases in South Korea this week during his first visit to the peninsula since becoming the military’s top uniformed soldier last September, according to the 8th Army.
Odierno will meet with soldiers at U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan and Camp Humphreys on Thursday and Friday. He will also meet with U.S. and South Korean military leaders and be briefed on the 8th Army’s transformation efforts.
