A court martial for Airman 1st Class Brandur Jensen will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Sheppard Air Force Base.
Jensen is charged with violating Article 120b for sexual assault of a child and two specifications under Article 134 for attempting to persuade two other underage girls to have sex with him.
Jensen allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old female in December 2012, while in Reno, Nevada, and allegedly used his cell phone and the internet to attempt to entice two more underage females (ages 14 and 15) to engage in sexual activity between October 2012 and May 2013, including the transmission of sexually explicit texts and photographs.
Reno police transferred the investigation to the Air Force in February 2013 and charges were preferred in December 2013.
If convicted, Jensen faces a maximum punishment of confinement for life, a dishonorable discharge, and total forfeiture of all pay and allowances.
This is the second court martial in May at Sheppard. May 6, instructor pilot training student Second Lt. Benjamin Sears, 459th Flying Training Squadron, was found guilty of violating Article 120c of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, indecent exposure, and was sentenced to 30 days confinement and a dismissal for exposing himself on two separate occasions.
Ten Sheppard Airmen also recently received non-judicial punishment for their actions under the Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 15.
