AFN to broadcast Papa Roach concert live
AFN-Europe will televise Papa Roach’s performance at the Wiesbaden Army Airfield on Tuesday night.
The live broadcast on American Forces Network’s Freedom channel, scheduled to start some time after 8 p.m. CET, will allow troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to watch the show, AFN officials said. Troops and Department of Defense civilians around the globe with AFN decoders should also be able to see the broadcast.
The starting time of the show isn’t set because AFN will not broadcast the performance of Dear Superstar, the opening act.
The two bands are currently touring Europe. They’re set to perform in one United Service Organizations-sponsored show Sunday night at Aviano Air Base, Italy, before heading to Wiesbaden, Germany.
