Museum Night Fever in Brussels

Heat up the night with a bout of Museum Fever, spreading through Brussels, Belgium, from 7 p.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday.

Belgium’s capital offers visitors the chance to experience a variety of programs offered by 23 museums. Over the course of the evening, participants are invited to watch budding actors bring to life the works of Rubens and Brueghel at the Old Masters Museum, experience a tactile tour of the BELvue Museum while blindfolded, play detective at the Museum of the City of Brussels, or come face-to-face with monstrous creatures at the Coudenberg. Clubbing types can keep the night rocking at an after-party at the Brussels Event Brewery from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., where DJs on six podiums will entertain with the sounds of electro, hip hop, dub and cool vintage.

A museum pass sells for 8 euros (about $11) when purchased online in advance, or 12 euros on the day. The cost includes shuttle service between venues. Accompanied children 12 and under enter free. Museum passes that include entry to the after-party cost 13 euros in advance or 17 euros on the day. See www.museumnightfever.be, which has an English option.
