Why does the school like military students?
Waldorf College wants to help military men and women prepare for a new civilian profession or boost their rank with an online bachelor’s degree. Flexible, online courses and affordable tuition allow members of the military to achieve a quality education while preserving our nation’s freedom.

What GI Bill/Tuition Assistance benefits are offered/available?
Waldorf is approved to offer DANTES, Tuition Assistance (TA) and Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits.

Do you offer online degrees/distance learning programs?
Yes, Waldorf offers bachelor’s degree online. For every 30 hours completed, one residency course is required. These three-day, tuition-free residency courses feature engaging, hands-on learning experiences and networking opportunities with faculty and classmates.  Students must complete one to four residency courses— depending on credit hours required—to earn their online degree.

What programs/services are available specifically to military students?
Additional education funding is available to those approved for TA and eligible for MGIB-active-duty benefits.  Immediate family members of active-duty military will receive an application fee waiver and a 10 percent tuition discount.

What is your policy on involuntary activation for military service?
Waldorf College understands and appreciates the efforts of military men and women. We will work with students on a case-by-case basis to make accommodations for withdrawal from classes in the event of involuntary activation.
