Exercise hones skills of A-10, F-16 pilots

OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea — Pilots of the 25th and 36th Fighter Squadrons performed simulated combat sorties during the Beverly Bulldog 14-02 exercise last week at Osan Air Base, South Korea.
The 25th Fighter Squadron is primarily composed of the tank-killing A-10 "Thunderbolt II", while the 36th Fighter Squadron flies the F-16 "Fighting Falcon".
The exercise allowed the squadrons to practice integration of its operational and tactical units, as well as conducting noncombatant evacuation operations training, according to an Air Force news release.
