A video of an Air Force band doing an amazing cover of Adele's hit song Rolling in the Deep has gone viral, with 200,000 views in three days, and media coverage on both sides of the Atlantic.
So far, no word on who the band members are---or whether any recording companies have been in touch.
Update:
The Air Force responds. It turns out this is an Air National Guard band out of Missouri.
"The YouTube clip is of the AFENT Band, Sidewinder, performing at a cargo yard for a group of about 50 Airmen last week," spokesperson Capt. Melissa Milner emailed. "They are deployed as the U.S. Air Forces Central Command Band [in Afghanistan]."
The lead vocalist is apparently Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson. Others in the band include Capt. John Arata, Tech. Sgt. Kevin Maret, Tech. Sgt. John Cavanaugh, Tech. Sgt. Joseph Castilleja, Staff Sgt. Tobias Callaway, Staff Sgt. Ransom Miller, Staff Sgt. Devin LaRue, Staff Sgt. Brian Owens and Staff Sgt. Sean Navarro.
If any music producers out there want to learn more, here's a news article about Sidewinder from just before their deployment.
