Nowhere in the Chinese zodiac will you find the big black cat, but on the Pacific high school gridiron, this has certainly been the Year of the Panther. Guam High has already staked its claim to a school-first regular-season title; Kadena and Yokota may soon follow with victories in their Friday homecoming games.
