Keep it real, peepz

One of the concerns that were brought to me when this blog began last spring was that a person might hide behind the name of a coach, an athletics director or some high-placed position, and post messages that don't meet my criteria of: 1)Staying on topic and 2) Avoiding personal attacks.

That precise scenario happened in the last day.

The individual's posts have been deleted and a word of warning has been sent to the individual.

Every post placed on this site is monitored by me and our Web administrators in Washington.

Don't do it. Your posts will be deleted and you will be blocked from posting further on the blog.

Keep it real. Keep it on topic. Personal attacks strictly verboten. I call SportsBlog the "No-Hate Zone" for a reason. As Jamie Kennedy so eloquently put it in Malibu's Most Wanted, "Don't be hatin'."

Thank you, SportsBlog Nation, for making this forum the success it's been. :)
