Guam High football visits Southern at 10 a.m. Saturday

Guam High knew it would be facing Southern on short rest after its 15-14 loss Tuesday to league-leading Father Duenas Memorial. Now, the Panthers know where and when they'll be facing the Dolphins.

Southern's field, which had been condemned for several years, has been refurbished -- along with all its athletic facilities -- and will be ready in time for Saturday's 10 a.m. game with the Panthers, said Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam president Martin Boudreau on Friday in an e-mail.
