CORRECT USFJ-AFL Torii Bowl host possibilities, July 15.0 edition

CORRECTED AND EDITED at 9 p.m. Friday.

Final word on that has to come from the commissioner, but as I see it, here are the scenarios. Defending champion Foster plays Joint Task Force for the South title on Tuesday, Misawa is at Yokota for the North title on Saturday:

-- If Yokota beats Misawa on Saturday, no matter what happens on Tuesday, Yokota hosts the Torii Bowl. Yokota holds the tiebreaker edge over Foster based on head-to-head regular-season results; Yokota is also a No. 1 playoff seed, while Joint Task Force is a No. 2.

-- If Misawa beats Yokota on Saturday, no matter what happens on Tuesday, either Foster or JTF will host the Torii Bowl. Foster is a No. 1 seed, while Misawa is a No. 2; JTF holds the tiebreaker edge over Misawa based on head-to-head regular-season results.
