It's official: Humphreys High School's Blackhawks Field will open for business Friday evening with the school's first home game, a non-varsity contest against neighboring Osan American. Kickoff is at 6 p.m., and all the accoutrements, bands, cheerleaders and so on will be in place (save for a concession stand), HHS principal Shelly Kennedy announced Thursday in an e-mail to the school staff. It's the second meeting of season between the teams: Osan won the first one 50-26 earlier this month. Just like that game, Friday's rematch will feature quite a few players on the Blackhawks side who played for the Cougars in years past.
