Friday forum: Is Bangkok the best?

I haven't made it to Bangkok yet, so I can't confirm or dispute the results of Travel + Leisure's annual readers poll, which tabbed Bangkok as the best city in the world. (My pick, Sydney, came in at number 6; the only other Pacific-region city to make the top 10 was Chiang Mai, also in Thailand.) Do you agree? Disagree?

Other travel news:

And, we have a special bonus forum question this week, because Time released its list of the Top 50 American Roadside Attractions. I can't believe the World's Largest Prairie Dog isn't on this list. Wait, yes, I can.

I've seen my share of ridiculous roadside attractions -- I grew up in South Dakota -- but I've only been to two that made this list: the World's Largest Baseball Bat, in Louisville, and of course I've been to Dinosaur Park, in my hometown of Rapid City, hundreds of times.

Have you been to any of them? What's missing?
