Tropical Storm 10W (Malou), # 6

1 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4: Sorry, I was out doing my other job (covering high school sports).

Destructive winds of 58-mph or greater are not forecast to occur on Okinawa on Saturday. Expect sustained 40-mph winds with 46-mph gusts between 9 a.m. and noon.

Unless Malou's track turns more toward Korea in the coming days, PST will sign off for now.

Dave Ornauer has been with Stars and Stripes since March 5, 1981.
