Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch?
Golfers who sign up for the American Red Cross’s Labor Day golf tournament will find a complimentary lunch included in their registration fees, according to Liz Thayer, the Stuttgart ARC director of volunteers.
The four-person scramble event, scheduled for the Stuttgart Golf Club in Kornwestheim at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, offers $1,000 in prizes as well as the free eats. Entry fees, which go to fund the local Red Cross, are $50 for members of the Stuttgart Golf Club, $60 for non-members and $45 for golfers in ranks E-4 and below. Entrants can purchase two mulligans for $5, and those who register immediately earn a $10 early-bird discount, Thayer wrote in an email.
