Germany's top 100 attractions

If someone were to ask you what your favorite place in all of Germany was, how would you reply?

As a matter of fact, someone is asking you. The German National Tourist Board, to be precise. From now through March 15, visit germany.travel and share your thoughts in a survey on Germany’s most striking and memorable places. The survey’s results will be used to help the board compile a list of Germany's top 100 attractions.

The survey shouldn’t take much time. Participants are requested to name their three favorite sights, homing in on specific places, rather than just naming a city or town. Although a handful of locations are listed as prompts, you are perfectly welcome to come up with your own ideas.

As an incentive to complete the survey, 10 iPod shuffles will be given away. To qualify for the drawing, entrants must provide e-mail addresses. The board also promises to keep entrants informed of the survey results.

What beauty spot will get your vote?
