Darmstadt, Germany, March 24, 1970: Rick Nelson talks to his band between songs during a club appearance on his tour of U.S. military bases in Germany. Nelson's singing career began while he was starring in his parents' TV sitcom, "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." At the time of his death in a 1985 plane crash, more than 50 of his songs had made their way onto the Billboard Top 100, including two number-one hits. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
