Quang Ngai, Vietnam, March, 1966: Army Capt. Pete Dawkins talks with his South Vietnamese counterpart during Operation Utah. Dawkins, a Heisman Trophy winner while playing football at West Point — and also a Rhodes Scholar — was serving as an advisor to the 1st Vietnamese Airborne Division. He would eventually retire as a brigadier general and go on to a successful career in the financial world.
