GARMISCH, Sept. 5 — Gen. Omar N. Bradley will go "night-clubbing" with GIs at the Casa Carioca club here tonight.
Bradley's official party will be the only officers at the club's GIs-only night which will feature a floor show and ice show.
Accompanied by Maj. Gen. Frank W. Milburn, commander of the 1st Inf. Div., and Brig. Gen. Joseph J. O'Hare, a War Department staff officer, the visiting Veterans Administration chief arrived at the EC's largest recreation center at 4 p.m. by auto from Bad Tolz.
He discussed the Garmisch set-up with Scotty Rogers, public relations officer; visited several facilities and then accepted an invitation to the Casa Carioca.
The four-star general will stay in Garmisch tonight and continue to Berchtesgaden tomorrow morning.
Earlier, Bradley inspected the 1st Inf. Div. and 1st Mil. Dist. installation at Bad Tolz.
Arriving at Flint kaserne at 10 this morning, Bradley was greeted with a 17-gun howitzer salute fired by A Btry., 7th FA Bn. On the grounds of the former SS officer school now housing division and district headquarters units, Bradley inspected honor guards from Hq. Co., 91st Inf. Div., 26th Inf. Refit., 370th Inf. Bn. and 371st Inf. Bn.
