Week 12 lookahead
Saturday
DODEA Pacific Class AA playoffs
Third-place game
Yokota vs. Guam, 1 p.m.—Guam has made a habit of rebounding smartly from
losses such as the 15-0 Class AA semifinal shutout Tuesday against Seoul. But
there’s much pride left in a Yokota program that will end the season with a
victory. ... Yokota 14, Guam High 13.
Championship
Kadena vs. Seoul, 6 p.m.—Yet another matchup of Falcons’ size vs. Panthers’
speed. Seoul’s defense has an ability to neutralize foes, but it has not seen
the speed of Thomas McDonald and Shariff Coleman. Nor will the Panthers be hit
as hard as they will be by the Falcons. ... Panthers 18, Falcons 15.
Last week-4-1, .800.

clean, the new season began in resounding fashion with a 15-0 semifinal win over
Guam High and, as Morton says, “It’s a whole new ballgame. We have yet to peak.”
