STUTTGART, Germany — The Army and Air Force Exchange Service is again offering increased discounts at the pumps when customers use their Military Star Card.
AAFES customers already get a 5-cent-a-gallon discount when they pay with their Star Card following a fill-up.
But the discount will increase to 11 cents a gallon on Wednesday, Veterans Day. And bigger discounts are in store later in the year.
Customers will see a 20-cent-a-gallon discount from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 and from Dec. 28 to Jan. 1.
"These discounts couldn’t come at a better time," Mike Howard, AAFES’ chief operating officer said in a news release. "Because the Military Star Card is an exchange product, it provides unique opportunities to deliver unprecedented savings opportunities like these to authorized drivers."
