CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — The annual Toys for Tots campaign on Okinawa kicks off Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Camp Foster Main PX and at 11:30 a.m. at the Kadena Air Base BX.
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program will collect new, unwrapped toys through Dec. 24 to distribute to needy children as Christmas gifts.
Last year’s campaign collected about 13,000 toys for Okinawa children.
Collection boxes will be at all AAFES Exchanges, Navy Federal Credit Union branches on Marine Corps bases, Pentagon Credit Union on Kadena Air Base and all military chapels on the island.
PYEONGTAEK, South Korea – The Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, and the United Service Organizations will host a family block party Nov. 14 at Camp Humphreys.
Activities will include a family 5K run at 10 a.m.; a car show at 11 a.m.; and a chili cook-off starting at noon.

PYEONGTAEK, South Korea — Registration for the youth basketball season at Camp Humphreys is under way through Nov. 16. Players 4 to 19 are eligible.

The Daegu Spouses Association has announced plans for baked-goods events, a tour of homes and a gift-wrapping fundraiser this holiday season.
