From the S&S archives: War brides prepare to leave for the U.S.

With only a few weeks remaining before a change that would make immigration to the U.S. more difficult for them, war brides of U.S. servicemembers passed through Rhein-Main airport at a rate of 50 to 75 per week on their way to a new life in America.
