There is never nothing to do.

Even with a recent stand down of ISAF forces, the soldiers of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment stationed at Forward Operating Base Zangabad in the Panjwai district of southern Afghanistan’s Kandahar province find things to do.

Whether its unwinding with friends, nurturing spiritual health or pulling guard duty, deployed life in Afghanistan becomes a string of ordinary moments.
