A day when three Far East high school rushing records were broken was also a day of
celebration for Japans Yokota Panthers and South Koreas Yongsan Falcons.
Yokotas Darren Taylor and Corey Dunlap-Buckmon of Simon Sanchez on Guam each
eclipsed the Far East single-season rushing record of 1,439 yards. Taylor had 1,493 yards

buried John F. Kennedy 66-0.
The Sharks (7-1) crept within a half-game of the Guam Interscholastic League-leading
Father Duenas Memorial Friars (8-1).
Dunlap-Buckmons performance shattered 15-year-old records for rushing yards and
touchdowns in one game. JFKs Erwin Flauta set the previous Far East single-season
